GVCT has been trading in the UK since 2001 (known as GVCT from 2009 onwards). But we can trace our shipping container heritage back to 1995 when our parent company, Grand View Development was registered in Hong Kong.
In 2007, Grand View Development changed its name to UES International (HK) to better reflect its growing global business. UES International now has presence in Australia, China, Europe, India, Japan, Korea, Singapore, South America and the USA.
The company is one of the leading shipping and storage container companies in the world, backed by a management team with strong experience in shipping, container leasing and railways. Together with its network of offices, UES International (HK) has developed a customer profile that includes many prominent names from the top 30 global shipping lines as well as global logistics companies.
It is this direct link to the manufacture of the containers that allows us in the UK to achieve such a low-cost rental service without sacrificing quality in anyway – not the quality of the storage containers themselves nor the quality of the service support that we deliver to our rental customers.
